Thursday, October 16 • 6:00 p.m.

Angela Dawson from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History takes us on a preview journey through the multi-million dollar restoration of the Old State Capitol which will re-open to the public in January 2009.

Lawn Chair Film Festival

Saturday, October 18 • 6:00 p.m.

The 10th Annual Fall Pilgrimage closes with an outdoor presentation of the movie, My Dog Skip, based on the novel by Willie Morris. Morris often wrote of his affection and ties to his great-grandparents' home in Raymond. His obvious fondness for Raymond is reciprocated through our tributes to him in the 2008 Pilgrimage, A Place Called Raymond.
